Community Guidelines

Effective date: July 13, 2026

Who These Apply To

These guidelines apply to all users of Upskwela, including creators and learners. They work together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Community owners are responsible for ensuring that their communities and contributors follow them.

1. Education Only

  • Upskwela exists solely for educational purposes: teaching, learning, training, mentorship, academic or professional development, and instructional resources.
  • Every community and all content uploaded, published, promoted, or sold must have a genuine and primary educational purpose.
  • Non-educational communities and content are prohibited, whether paid or free.

2. Be Respectful

  • No harassment, hate speech, bullying, threats, or discrimination.
  • Debate ideas respectfully. Personal attacks are not allowed.
  • Do not create hostile or unsafe environments.

3. Stay On Topic

  • Keep posts relevant to the community or learning objective.
  • Avoid spam, repetitive promotion, and off-topic posts.

4. Share Responsibly

  • Share accurate information and cite reliable sources when possible.
  • Only upload content you own or have permission to use.
  • Do not post private or confidential information without consent.

5. Privacy and Security

  • No doxxing or sharing personal contact details without consent.
  • Do not share credentials or impersonate other users.
  • Report suspicious activity, scams, or phishing immediately.

6. Prohibited Content and Conduct

  • No plagiarism, piracy, copyright infringement, unauthorized copying or distribution, or sale of content you do not own or have permission to use.
  • No gambling, betting, wagering, lotteries, casino-style activity, or promotion or facilitation of those activities.
  • No content, community, product, service, or promotion unrelated to education.
  • No illegal activity, fraud, phishing, malware, or deceptive links.
  • No hate or violent incitement.
  • No sexual content involving minors.
  • No fake credentials, fake testimonials, or impersonation.

7. AI and Synthetic Media

  • Label AI-generated content when it may mislead people.
  • No deepfakes or synthetic media of real people without consent.
  • Do not use AI to fabricate achievements or credentials.

8. Promotions and Payments

  • Follow creator/channel rules for promotions and affiliate links.
  • No unsolicited DMs or repeated ads.
  • Do not bypass Upskwela payment systems to avoid platform fees.

9. Moderation and Enforcement

  • Confirmed plagiarism, piracy, gambling-related activity, or non-educational content will be taken down immediately. The responsible user account and associated community will be permanently banned.
  • For other correctable violations, Upskwela will normally send a warning that gives the responsible user or community 1 to 3 calendar days to update, remove, or fix the affected content or conduct. The available period depends on severity.
  • After that period, Upskwela will review the response. Content may be removed and the user and community may be restricted, suspended, or banned if they still fail to comply.
  • We may act without a warning when required by law or when fraud or a serious safety risk requires immediate action.
  • Creators can moderate their communities, but Upskwela rules take precedence.
  • Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent bans, payout holds, or legal action.

10. Purchased Content After Moderation

A purchaser will keep account-specific access to content they bought even if the owner deletes their account or the related community is archived, deleted, restricted, or banned. Only eligible purchasers may use that continuing access. It ends if the specific content is restricted, banned, or removed by an Upskwela administrator, or if the purchase is refunded, reversed, charged back, fraudulent, or otherwise invalidated.

11. Reporting and Appeals

Report violations through in-app reporting tools or via hello@upskwela.com . If action is taken on your account or content, you may appeal with additional context and evidence.

12. Updates

We may update these guidelines from time to time. Continued use of Upskwela after an update means you accept the revised guidelines.
