Why we built Upskwela for Filipino creators

I'm Rodrick "bossROD" Alcantara, and Upskwela started with a simple belief: Filipino creators and educators deserve to earn from what they know.

Across the Philippines, so many people are already teaching every day. They share lessons through videos, live sessions, communities, and conversations. They build trust, help people improve, and create real impact, yet many still struggle to turn that expertise into income.

Not because the value is missing, but because the system is. Too many do not know where to start. Too many settle for scattered tools, manual workarounds, and expensive platforms that were never really made for the Philippine creator journey.

That is why we built Upskwela. We want creators in the Philippines to have one practical place to teach, build a community, launch offers, accept local payments, and finally earn in a way that matches the value they already give to people.
